Thank you for recommending that we conduct each survey separately.  We
are proceeding to put this into practice.

Per our teleconference on Tuesday, March 3, concerning the reinstatement
of 3145-0182, we sent you the revised supporting statement to indicate
this clearance request is for the reinstatement of IGERT.  You agreed
that the Federal Register notice of August 31, 2007, was sufficient to
cover IGERT, and we submit that the language in the previous notice
sufficiently addresses questions to be asked in the Gk-12 case as well. 

We have just finished designing a full-scale evaluation of the GK-12
program and had planned to submit it to you within the next month.  We
would like to present GK-12 as also covered by the same notice.
Attached
is a highlighted PDF version of the notice, which we believe was written
broadly enough to cover not only IGERT, but GK-12 as well.  If you
agree, we would like to take this opportunity to reinstate GK-12 (in
2002, we requested and received approval for 3145-0187, which spoke
directly to
GK-12) back under 3145-0187, and, if possible, to use this same notice
to serve for GK-12 as it is for IGERT.
