In order to be authorized to file shipment information through AESDirect a company representative must pass the AESDirect or AESPcLink Certification Quiz.

Preparation for the AESDirect Quiz should include taking the AESDirect Tutorial and reviewing the information in the User Guide.

The AESPcLink Certification Quiz is recommended for individuals who have attended an AESPcLink workshop or participated in an online training session. You may also prepare for this quiz by reviewing the AESPcLink Overview and the User Guide.

To take either certification quiz, you will need the company user name issued by AESDirect and the password selected by the company's Account Administrator.

Once someone having access to the company's account has passed either the AESDirect or AESPcLink Quiz, the AESDirect support staff will be notified and will activate the account within three days for filing through AESDirect. The company's account administrator will be sent an e-mail when this process is complete. Please do not attempt to begin filing until you have received this confirming e-mail.

For training purposes, once the company has been authorized to file through AESDirect, company employees make take a quiz at any time to demonstrate filing competence to their supervisors.
