Loan Guarantee Recovery Fund Established Pursuant to the Church Arson=20

SUMMARY: The proposed information collection requirement described=20
below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB)=20
for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The Department=20
is soliciting public comments on the subject proposal.
    Section 4 of the Church Arson Prevention Act of 1996 authorizes the=20
Secretary to guarantee loans made to certain nonprofit organizations=20
whose properties have been damaged by an act or acts of arson or=20
terrorism.

DATES: Comments Due Date: December 16, 2011.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This notice informs the public that the=20
Department of Housing and Urban Development has submitted to OMB a=20
request for approval of the Information collection described below.=20
This notice is soliciting comments from members of the public and=20
affecting agencies concerning the proposed collection of information=20
to: (1) Evaluate whether the proposed collection of information is=20
necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the agency,=20
including whether the information will have practical utility; (2)=20
Evaluate the accuracy of the agency's estimate of the burden of the=20
proposed collection of information; (3) Enhance the quality, utility,=20
and clarity of the information to be collected; and (4) Minimize the=20
burden of the collection of information on those who are to respond;=20
including through the use of appropriate automated collection=20
techniques or other forms of information technology, e.g., permitting=20
electronic submission of responses.
