IN RM05-4-000, FERC is amending its regulations under the Federal Power Act to require public utilities that own, control, or operate facilities for transmitting electric energy in interstate commerce to file revised open access transmission tariffs for specific technical requirements for the interconnection of large wind generators (larger than 20 MW). In the Final Rule, FERC is adopting standard procedures and technical requirements for the interconnection of large wind plants, to be included in Appendix G of the Large Generator Interconnection Agreement (LGIA).
