ARE PRINCIPALLY USED. THE INFORMATION COLLECTION PROVIDES THE
PUBLIC, COMMERCIAL COMPANIES, STATES, ETC., WITH THE NUMBER OF
VESSELS REGISTERED, THEIR LENGTHS, TYPES, AND USAGE. (46 U.S.C.
1467, FEDERAL BOATING SAFETY ACT OF 1971).
