Abstract: THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT PROVIDES FOR PAYMENT OF ANNUITIES TO WIDOWS, WIDOWERS AND CHILDREN OF DECEASED RAILROAD WORKERS. THE APPLICATION WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPLICANT AND THE DECEASED EMPLOYEE SUPPORTING A CLAIM FOR BENEFITS BASED ON BEING A WIDOW(ER) WITH QUALIFYING CHILDREN. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED FOR DETERMINING ENTITLEMENT TO AND AMOUNT OF ANNUITIES APPLIED FOR
