SOURCES. THE DATA SO OBTAINED ARE ENTERED ON THE FORM BY THE CENSUS
BUREAU, AND THE FORM IS THEN SENT TO LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS FOR
REVIEW AND CERTIFICATION. THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT NEEDS THESE DATA
TO DETERMINE GENERAL REVENUE SHARING ALLOCATIONS ($6.8 BILLION
DISTRIBUTION IN FY 1980)
