THE EXPORTS SALES REPORTING SYSTEM WAS
ESTABLISHED TO IMPLEMENT THE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 812
OF THE AGRICULTURAL ACT OF 1970. THIS SECTION PLACED A MANDATORY
REPORTING REQUIREMENT ON EXPORTERS OF DESIGNATED AGRICULTURAL
COMMODITIES PRODUCED IN THE UNITED STATES. ALSO, SECTION 7(G) OF
THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT OF 1979 PROVIDES FOR COLLECTION OF
DATA ON EXPORT SALES OF ANIMAL HIDES AND SKINS. WEEKLY REPORTS FROM
EXPORTERS ARE COMPILED AN
