Abstract: IRC SECTION 4061 IMPOSES A MANUFACTURERS EXCISE TAX ON ARTICLES SUCH AS CERTAIN TRUCK AND BUS CHASSIS, BODIES, PARTS, AND ACCESSORIES, AND IRC SECTIONS 4081 AND 4091 IMPOSE MANUFACTURES EXCISE TAXES ON GASOLINE AND LUBRICATING OIL. CERTAIN MANUFACTURERS, PURCHASERS, PRODUCERS, AND IMPORTERS ARE EXEMPT FROM THESE TAXES THEY USE THIS FORM TO REGISTER WITH IRS FOR TAX-FREE TRANSACTIONS.
