THE LETTER OF CREDIT APPLICATION IS
NEEDED TO PROVIDE THE URBAN MASS TRANSPORTATION ADMINISTRATION WITH
THE NECESSARY INFORMATION TO ESTABLISH A LETTER OF CREDIT FOR A
GRANTEE WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF TREASURY CIRCULAR NO. 1075. THE INFORMATION COLLECTED
WOULD BE USED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY TO PROCESS PAYMENT
VOUCHERS SUBMITTED BY A GRANTEE UNDER A LETTER OF CREDIT.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
