Terms of Clearance: This information collection request is approved through 7/31/83 on the conditions (a) that question 1 is combined with 3, question 5 is deleted, and question 6 is expanded to include boxes for indicating source of program funds (federal, other, don't know) and (b) that the nature of information obtained on post-freshman year use of special services must be made clear in all evaluation reports drawn from this survey. If ED is unable to distinguish receipt of TRIO from non-TRIO services, any variable measuring receipt of special services must be explicitly described as not measuring the effect of TRIO services but the effect of TRIO-like services. Any statement about the impact of TRIO services must be restricted to the impact of TRIO services received during the freshman year.
