Abstract: HOMEOWNERS NEED TO KNOW THE AMOUNT OF INTEREST AND TAXES PAID ON THEIR MORTGAGE ACCOUNT IN ORDER TO PREPARE THEIR INCOME TAX RETURN. ADDITIONALLY, HOMEOWNERS WITH A SECTION 235 MORTGAGE NEED TO KNOW THE AMOUNT OF SUBSIDY PAID ON THEIR BEHALF NOT ONLY FOR INCOME TAX PURPOSE BUT ALSO TO DETERMINE THE AMOUNT OF ASSISTANCE TO BE RECAPTURED UNDER PROVISIONS OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1980.
