Abstract: FORM FS-6500-24 IS NECESSARY FOR THE FOREST SERVICE (FS) TO PROPERLY PERFORM ITS FUNCTION OF EVALUATING THE FINANCIAL CAPABILITIES OF PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS, CONTRACTORS, AND APPLICANTS. THIS FORM PROVIDES THE FS WITH THE NEEDED DATA TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE RESPONDENT HAS THE FINANCIAL ABILITY TO CARRY OUT THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT.
