This clearance
will expire March 31, 1984. AID must write a new procurement
regulation that is compatible with the Federal Acquisition
Regulation (FAR) and submit it for a full three year clearance Not
later than January 31, 1984, AID should provide a detailed
description of its process for reviewing and approving information
collection which are specific to a contract or contracting action
and are not required by regulation.

THE AID PROCUREMENT REGULATIONS
SUPPLEMENT THE FEDERAL PROCUREMENT REGULATIONS AS A FRAMEWORK FOR
AID CONTRACTS. THE POSTCONTRACT ELEMEN AFFECT ACTIVE AGENCY
CONTRACTORS AND ARE REQUIRED FOR THE APPROXIMATE ADMINISTRATION,
MONITORING, CLOSEOUT, AND OTHER NEEDS FOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE
AID MISSION.
