FCC must include in its FY 1985 Information Collection Budget submission a report on it progress and plans for replacing its current licensee EEO requirements including a statement of whether this rulemaking (FCC Docket 21474) ha been included as a priority review in FCC's regulatory agenda. The report should explain how FCC will reach a reasoned judgement on the need for licensee EEO reporting requirements.

Abstract: ALL AM, FM AND TV COMMERCIAL AND NONCOMMERCIAL BROADCAST STATIONS MUST FILE THIS PROGRAM. IT PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE AND CLEARLY-DEFINED PRACTICES TO ASSIST THE NON EXEMPT BROADCAST APPLICANT IN DEVELOPING A EFFECTIVE EEO PROGRAM AND MAY BE USED BY THE LICENSEE FOR SELF EVALUATION. IT ALSO ASSURES THE COMMISSION THAT EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY IS BEING PROVIDED BY THE LICENSEE.
