SEC. 73.1615 REQUIRES THAT ALL AM, FM,
& TV STATIONS NOTIFY THE FCC OF THE NEED TO DISCONTINUE
OPERATION OR TO OPERATE WITH TEMPORARY FACILITIES FOR 30 DAYS OR
LESS. IF THERE IS A NEED TO DISCONTINUE OPERATION FOR MORE THAN 30
DAYS, LICENSEE MUST SUBMIT AN INFORMAL LETT REQUEST TO THE
COMMISSION. THIS NOTIFICATION IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. 1.65 OF
FCC FULES & ASSURES THE COMM. THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST IS BEING
SERVED AND GOOD ENGINEERING PRACTICES ARE BEING APPLIED.
