STATE AND LOCAL ISSUERS OF PRIVATE
PURPOSE BONDS MUST PROVIDE ON FOMR 8038 CERTAIN INFORMATION TO THE
IRS. THIS INFORMATION REPORTING REQUIREMENT IS IMPOSED BY SECTION
215 OF THE TAX EQUITY AND FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY ACT OF 1982.
CONGRESS REQUIRED THIS INFORMATION TO BE COLLECTED BY IRS IN ORDER
THAT IT COULD BETTER STUDY TAX EXEMPT BONDS.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
