STATEMENTS, THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1985. UNDER THE PAPERWORK
REDUCTION ACT, THE FARMERS HOME ADMINISTRATION MAY CONTINUE TO USE
THE CFS IN NORTH CAROLINA, AND TO REQUIRE IT OF NO MORE THAN TEN
BORROWERS PER FMHA COUNTY OFFICE IN OTHER STATES. ALSO, AS A
CONDITION FOR FURTHER CLEARANCE, THE FMHA SHOULD DEVELOP
ALTERNATIVE GUIDELINES FOR THE USE OF THE CFS BY COUNTY STAFF. SEE
FORTHCOMING LETTER.

REGULATION PRESCRIBES THE POLICIES,
AND PROCEDURES FOR MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION OF APPLICANTS AND
BORROWERS AND IMPLEMENTS THE NATIONWIDE USE OF "COORDINATED
FINANCIAL STATEMENT" NEEDED TO IMPROVE THE COLLECTION AND
RECORDKEEPING OF FINANCIAL DATA BY FMHA FARM BORROWERS.
