collection is approved through 12/31/85. Prior to that time you
must enter into rulemaking procedures in accordance with 5 CFR
1320.14 to propose two revisions to these requirements. The first
proposed revision is the elimination of the Data Submission
Reports. The second is the elimination of the requirement that
saving and loans note sex and race of home mortgage applicants by
appearance if the applicants choose not to supply the information.
Additional information, including our reasons for requiring this
actio will follow in a letter.
