Abstract: THE STANDARDS SURVEY IS A COMPREHENSIVE LISTING OF NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS ACTIVITIES FOR MEDICAL DEVICES. THE SURVEY SERVES AS A BASIS FOR THE CONTINUING REVIEW OF EXISTING STANDARDS OF CLASS II DEVICES AND AS A GUIDELINE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW STANDARDS. THE SURVEY IS USED BY GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, PRIVATE HOSPITA LIBRARIES, INDUSTRY, STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT, AND PRIVATE CITIZENS TO KEEP ABREAST OF STANDARD DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES.
