THE INCREASE IN
BURDEN HOURS CONTAINED IN THIS INFORMATION COLLECTION REQUEST WAS
NOT PART OF THE FY87 ICB, THEREFORE CDC IS EXPECTED TO MAKE
REDUCTIONS TO OFFSET THIS INCREASE DURING FY87. THE EVALUATION
STUDY OF NNIS, ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR COMPLETION IN DECEMBER
1986, I NOW SCHEDULED TO BE COMPLETED DURING THE SUMMER OF 1987.
THE RESULTS OF THE STUDY SHOULD BE REPORTED TO OMB. IF THE STUDY
SHOWS CHANGES SHOULD BE MADE TO ENSURE PRACTICAL UTILITY AND/OR TO
REDUCE THE BURDEN CDC WILL SUBMIT A REVISED INFORMATION CLEARANCE
REQUEST.
