FEDERAL AGENCIES PARTICIPATING IN THE SBIR PROGRAM TO THE SMALL
BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION FOR THE SBIR ANNUAL REPORT TO CONGRESS

review under the Paperwork Reduction Act (ACT) because it does not
satisfy the conditions of 5 CFR 1320.7(c). Specifically, this
collection of information is an interagency reporting requirement
that does not collect data from individual Government employees for
general statistical purposes (5 CFR 1320.7(c)(3)). However, this
program does contain reporting and recordkeeping requirements in
its policy directive. These collections of information are subject
to the Act and are approved under this OMB control number. SBA will
revise the docket justification to indicate that approval is sought
for the collections of information contained in the policy
directive. SBA will submit the revised justification to OMB not
later than April 1, 1988.

PARTICIPATING FEDERAL AGENCIES TO REPORT ANNUALLY TO SBA ON THE
PROGRESS OF THEIR RESPECTIVE SBIR ACTIVITIES FOR PURPOSE OF
REQUIRED SBA ANNUAL SUBMISSION TO BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS. PROGRAM
EXPERIENCE AND RECENT AUTHORIZATION INDICATE NEED FOR REVISION OF
PRESENT REPORTING FORMAT.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
