Abstract: VOLUNTARY PLAN TERMINATION UNDER SEPPAA IS PERMITTED ONLY IF A PLAN QUALIFIES FOR A "STANDARD" OR A "DISTRESS" TERMINATION. THESE RULES WILL PRESCRIBE THE CONTENT OF NOTICES THAT MUST BE ISSUED TO PLAN PARTICIPANTS AND THE INFORMATION THAT MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE PBGC SO THAT IT CAN DETERMINE IF A PLAN MAY TERMINATE VOLUNTARILY.
