survey is approved, with revisions agreed to by OMB and HHS. The
remaining surveys are not approved, pending revisions of data
collection instruments. CDC is revising these instruments to
maximize consistency, improve clarity, and make further revisions
to enhance utility of these data collections. The revised forms
should be submitted as revisions under this OMB number and will be
reviewed on an expedited basis.

THIS STUDY IS DESIGNED TO MEASURE THE
LEVEL OF HIV PREVALENCE IN THE U.S. IT CONSISTS OF A FAMILY OF BOTH
BLINDED AND NON-BLINDED SEROLOGIC SURVEYS AMONG PATIENT IN TB
CLINICS, STD CLINICS, FAMILY PLANNING AND OTHER WOMEN'S HEALTH
CLINICS AND DRUG ABUSE TREATMENT CLINICS, AS WELL AS STUDIES AMONG
HIV POSITIVE BLOOD DONORS AND TRANSFUSION RECIPIENTS AND THEIR
HETEROSEXUAL.
