Abstract: THIS VOLUNTARY REPORTING SYSTEM MONITORS THE QUALITY OF DRUGS IN THE MARKETPLACE. THE SYSTEM HAS RAPIDLY UNCOVERED HEALTH HAZARDS OR CIRCUMSTANCES WHICH MAY INCREASE PATIENT/CONSUMER RISK. THIS MECHANISM UTILIZES THE PROFESSIONALISM OF THE NATION'S PHARMACISTS. DQRS INFORMATION ALSO PROVIDES FDA WITH TIMELY SURVEILLANCE DATA TO DIRECT FIELD INSPECTIONAL OPERATIONS.
