April 26,1990, we asked the Department to provide a request and
justification for continuing to omit the expiration date, if
Customs has a need to continue omiting the date. In the absence of
a response, we are approving this collection subject to the
requirement to print the expiration date on this form. If the
Customs Service has reason to continue to omit the expiration date,
the Department should promptly submit a request and justification
via an Inventory Correction Worksheet.
