conditions: 1) FNS may not claim that this instrument evaluates the
impact ofthe demonstration on the number of family day care
providers participating in CACFP. As this assessment fails to
statistically isolate the impact of the demonstration on the
outcomes, the Agency may only discuss their findings in descriptive
or qualitative terms. In addition, the Agency may not generalize
these findings. 2) Eliminate column one, in Part 1, question number
2, Attachment B(2).

CONGRESS REQUIRED THE USDA FOOD AND
NUTRITION SERVICE TO DEMONSTRATE STRATEGIES TO INCREASE
PARTICIPATION OF LOW-INCOME CHILDREN IN THE CHI AND ADULT CARE FOOD
PROGRAM. FNS MUST COLLECT DATA FROM CHILD CARE CENTERS, FAMILY DAY
CARE HOMES, AND PARENTS OF CHILDREN ENROLLED IN TH HOMES TO REPORT
TO THE CONGRESS ON THE DEMONSTRATIONS AND THEIR OUTCOMES.
