Abstract: PHA'S/IHA'S USE THE FORM TO COMPUTE THE PAYMENTS IN LIEU OF TAXES THEY MAKE TO LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES. HUD USES THE FORMS TO ASCERTAIN COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 6(D) OF THE U.S. HOUSING ACT WHICH PROVIDES FOR EXEMPTION FROM REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES.
