THIS SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRE WILL BE SENT
TO A SAMPLE OF STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS TO GATHER DATA ON
FIREFIGHTER PAY, CLASSIFICATION, AND HOURS OF WORK. THE INFORMATION
WILL BE USED TO COMPARE FIREFIGHTERS IN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WITH
THOSE EMPLOYED BY STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AND WILL ASSIST OPM
IN MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PAY REFORM.
