Abstract: SECTION 76.607 REQUIRES CABLE SYSTEMS TO ADVISE SUBSCRIBERS ONCE EACH CALENDAR YEAR OF PROCEDURES FOR RESOLUTION OF COMPLAINTS. ALSO REQUIR THAT RECORDS BE MAINTAINED ON ALL SUBSCRIBER COMPLAINTS. THE DATA IS USED BY LOCAL FRANCHISING AUTHORITIES TO ASSESS A CABLE SYSTEM'S PERFORMANCE AND TO ENSURE THAT QUALITY SERVICE IS BEING PROVIDED TO SUBSCRIBERS.
