Abstract: THE ROBERT T. STAFFORD ACT ALLOWS STATES TO APPLY FOR FUNDING OF HAZARD MITIGATION MEASURES FOLLOWING A FEDERAL DECLARATION OF A MAJOR DISASTER OR EMERGENCY. THE STATE WILL SERVE AS GRANTEE AND MUST PREPA AN ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN WHICH OUTLINES THE PROCEDURES FOR GRANT MANAGEMENT AND PLAN UPDATES AFTER EACH MAJOR DISASTER DECLARATION.
