This information
collection is approved for use through December 31, 1994. In
response to the January 14, 1993 notice in the Federal Register
soliciting comments on the accuracy of the burden estimates of this
collection, OMB received comment. Per discussion with Mr. John
Comerford at HUD, for the small HAs that have commented, ther
appears to be some misunderstanding as to the requirements of the
PBA regulations and how they are implemented. At this time, rather
than revise the burden estimates developed by HUD, HUD has agreed
to produce a notice for distribution to relevant HAs to clear up
the confusion on what PBA entails in the way of account
recordkeeping and recording. This OMB approval IS CONDITIONAL on
OMB receipt of this notice and a description of how it is to be
distributed.
