the following conditions to which DOL has agreed: -- Implementation
of RQC will allow DOL to eliminate duplicative data elements on the
Quality Appraisal package relating to tax operations. DOL shall
submit a revised QA package (1205-0178) for OMB review to delete
these elements as soon as Core RQC is implemented. In addition when
the Cash Management component is implemented, any data elements
that duplicate information collected through the UI Trust Fund
Summari package (1205-0154) shall be removed from the Trust Fund
package. -- DOL expects two submit two other components of the RQC
for PRA clearance. The first, on Benefit Charging Accuracy, will
arrive by December 1994; the second, on Data Validation, will
arrive in 1995. -- As part of the workbook sent to States, DOL
shall ask States to indicate the staff time devoted to
DOL-initiated RQC activities to all for an accurate estimate of the
actual burden for this activity. -- DOL shall develop a reporting
form that summarizes data which State will be asked to provide
based on the RQC process, and a plan for how these data will be
used by DOL for program management and improvement. DOL will send
these materials for OMB review as an addendum to this clearance
package, prior to implementation.
