approvedthis one-time survey of obstetricians opinions regardi the
usefulness of corticosteroidal therapy in antenatal development. As
a result of this approval, the concept approval previously granted
to this collection under OMB number 0925-0367 will be discontinued.
W suggest the addition of a question on the role of liability
concerns in delaying obstetricians' acceptance of these drug
therapies.

THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CHILD HEALTH
AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT (NICHD) WILL CONDUCT SURVEYS OF PHYSICIANS TO
EVALUATE PRACTICE BEHAVIOR RELATED TO THE USE ANTENATAL
CORTICOSTEROIDS TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES IN PRETERM INFANTS. THIS IS THE
SUBJECT OF AN UPCOMING CONSENSUS DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE
(CDC).
