HOLDERS OF HUD-INSURED MULTIFAMILY
MORTGAGES MAY RECEIVE MORTGAGE INSURANCE BENEFITS BY ASSIGNING THE
MORTGAGE TO HUD IN THE EVENT OF A DEFAULT. IN CONNECTION WITH THE
ASSIGNMENT, THE MORTGAGEE MUST PROVID LEGAL DOCUMENTS (E.G., THE
MORTGAGE, NOTE, SECURITY AGREEMENT, TITLE INSURANCE POLICY) TO HUD.
THE PROPOSED FORM DESCRIBES THE DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED AND THE
PROCEDURES FOR SUBMISSION.
