This information
collection was previously conducted without OMB approval. The FCC
will ensure that no adverse actions are taken against licensees
that failed to respond to FCC letters that requested information
under parts 90.155, 90.313, 90.495, 90.496, 90.631, 90.633, 90.651,
90.725, and 90.737 of the Commission's rules prior to the approval
date of this collection. Each effected party will be promptly
informed of the status of their license. The FCC will issue a FCC
notice that clarifies the filing requirements contained in Sections
90.725 and 90.737. Of particular concern are the different
requirements for nationwide and nonnationwide providers. The
wording of the rules in these two sections is somewhat ambiguous.
The FCC will provide copies of this notice to OMB.

FCC 800I is used as a method of
verifying if licensee has placed station into operation and for
notifying the Commission of actual number of mobile units placed in
operation after license grant. The information is used to update
data bases and insures efficient spectrum utilization.
