Home health care has grown rapidly in
recent years despite limited evidence about the necessary volume of
home health care (HHC) to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
"Maximizing the Effectiveness of Home Health Care: The Influence of
Service Volume and Integration with Other Care Settings on Patient
Outcomes" will collect information to examine 1) the relationship
of HHC service volume and patient outcomes and 2) the relationship
of the physician role and integration of other services and patient
outcomes.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
