10, 1996. In addition, CDC shall assess, as part of the pilot study
analysis, whether additional criteria by which to select control
groups (e.g., income, education) would increase the validity of the
full-scale study.

The total dietary folate intake of
patients with vitamin B12 deficiency accompanied by anemia and
those without anemia will be compared to determine whether total
dietary folate intake is associated with different clinical
presentation of vitamin B12 deficiency.
