The respondents will be local law
enforcement, prosecutors, social service providers, and non-profit
agencies that handle missing and exploited children cases. The
results of the survey are intended for use by policy makers;
criminal justice practitioners who respond to missing and exploited
children cases service providers who work with these cases;
researchers; and others involved in missing and exploited youth
cases. The study has considerable potential for helping communities
across the country improve their response to missing and exploited
children.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
