is not approved at this time. In preparing the final rule, DOL
shall address the following issues: (1) DOL will respond to public
comments regarding ways to minimize burden, maximize utility, and
prevent duplication by revising the final rule as appropriate or
providing justification to why such revisions were not made. (2)
DOL will develop a burden estimate for record retention and respond
to comments regarding the public burden estimates on the
respondent. In addition, DOL is encouraged to explore alternatives
for streamlining the affirmative action program process.

Recordkeeping and reporting
obligations incurred by Federal contractors under E.O. 11246,
section 503, Rehabilitation Act of of 1973, and 38 U.S.C. 4212 are
