Approved as
amended by DOL's memoranda to OMB of 07/17/97, 07/22/97, and
07/23/97. DOL has agreed to work with States to implement
electronic reporting within the next 12 months. The Department has
also agreed to reexamine its burden analysis, and to provide OMB
with appropriate corrections as necessary. Burden correction
worksheets shall be submitted at least at one year and two years
from the date of clearance, with an additional earlier submission
if the Department determines that an adjustment of the current
figures is necessary. DOL has also agreed to reexamine whether
continued audit concerns merit the continued presence of questions
25 and 26 on the JQSR. Last, we note that because DOL continued to
collect this information after the form expired in June 1996, this
collection was in violation of the PRA.
