The Act requires that FDA protect the public health by assuring that prescription drug information is truthful, balanced, and accurately communicated to physicians, health care providers, and to the public. Therefore, sponsors of drugs and biologics for human use must submit specimens of promotional materials at the time of dissemination to the Agency for review. This form accompanies these materials and expedites both the sponsor's and the Agency's handling of the submissions.
