Abstract: Rule 17a-5(c) sets forth the financial statements that must be sent to public customers of broker-dealers. The primary purpose of Rule 17a-5(c) is to give public customers of a broker or dealer a clear indication of the financial condition of the broker or dealer and to convey similar information to the Commission.
