Abstract: This program allows European Community (E.C.) Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) to review quality systems for medical devices manufactured in Europe for export to the U.S. and premarket notifications of certain such devices. This is a voluntary program established pursuant to a negotiated U.S./E.C. Mutal Recognition Agreement.
