Approved for use
through 10/1999 under the condition that HCFA reevaluates its
burden estimate. In particular, HCFA must ex- plain to OMB why 700
issuers are impacted by certain requirements and fewer than 10
issuers in other instances. In addition, HCFA must explain in
detail the bases for its requested burden reduction and properly
attribute burden hours to program changes or adjustments. This
detailed explanation may be attached to a correction worksheet. In
the meantime, OMB has not amended HCFA's earlier burden
estimate.
