Terms of Clearance: OMB strongly supports the FCC efforts to consolidate all data collections that involve reporting of service revenues and hopes that these collections will be done electronically. The FCC shall include information on the FCC 487 regarding what geographical locations (states) belong to each of the LNP regions so that small entities can correctly respond to this collection. Finally, the FCC shall ensure that the contractor, Lockheed Martin, does not misuse this information and that is is solely used to administer the LNP requirements. The FCC shall obtain OMB permission before allowing the contractor to use this information for any other purpose.

Abstract: The Commission requires all telecommunications carriers to annually report their intrastate, interstate, and international end-user telecommunications revenues to the number portability regional data base administrator. The information will be used to determine each carrier's contribution to the cost of the regional number portability data bases. Incumbent LECs are required to maintain records on carrier's specific costs.
