Section 3010 of subtitle C of the
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requires any person
who owns or operates a facility for the treatment, storage, or
disposal of regulated waste to notify EPA of their activities,
including the location and general description of activities and
the regulated wastes handled. EPA uses the information provided on
the notification form to identify facilities undertaking waste
management activities and to ensure that such activities are
conducted in a manner protective of human health and the
environment.

with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
