This collection is needed to help the
Forest Service meet its responsibilities for public involvement.
The information will help the Agency better understand the demands
urban residents make on the Agency's programs and services, how
well the Agency communicates with these residents, how well the
Agency meets the needs and expectations of urban residents, and how
opportunities might be made available to involve urban residents in
activities on National Forest System lands. Information will be
collected from urban residents in the cities of Boston, MA;
Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN; Detroit, MI; and Cleveland, OH.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
