Abstract: The Office of Lead Hazard Control of the Department of Housing and Urban Development is conducting an evaluation of an approach to lead hazard reduction in low-income housing which involves use of community service employees who have been provided training and certification as lead abatement workers rather than certified lead abatement contractors.
