The Office of Lead Hazard Control of
the Department of Housing and Urban Development has published a
Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA) for lead hazard control
research for the past three years. The research is used to improve
the efficacy and cost effectiveness of the evaluation and control
of residential lead-based paint hazards, and to revise and update
the guidelines for the evaluation and control of lead-based paint
hazards in housing.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
